This final-year architectural design project focuses on developing a fully resolved Urban Room scheme that integrates environmental, technological, and structural strategies while reflecting poetics and tectonics in architecture. Building on previous schematic designs, the aim is to produce a holistic, sustainable, and buildable proposal that responds to site context and user needs. The project emphasizes the role of design as an integrative process—balancing function, aesthetics, and performance—while demonstrating critical thinking, structural logic, and sensitivity to environmental and regulatory considerations. Students are required to translate their design narrative into a comprehensive architectural presentation, showcasing clarity in spatial planning, innovation in green strategies, and richness in experiential qualities, culminating in both a final design presentation and a detailed design report.
