Analysis Report
Project Brief
In this group project, students were to do an analysis report on two selected historical buildings of a specific ancient period. Students will have to use appropriate architectural vocabulary and visual content when identifying the architectural elements, series, and period. The development of the buildings' form, history, and architects are also included in the booklet.
ANALYSIS BOOKLET
For my group, we have chose to do research on the Temple of Ramesses II and Temple of Hatshepsut from the ancient Egypt period. These two buildings were chosen because we thought that they were both built for significant figures like Ramesses II, and Hapshepsut, have quite some similarities but also something different in terms of building forms which we can further discover in our research and will be interesting when comparing two of the buildings together. As for the diagrams in the booklet, we have decided to use our manual drawings to illustrate our information.

We were also required to produce an A1-sized poster of two historical building in which the poster will include the summary of our research in the booklet. The A1-sized poster are used to scan for Blippar, an augmented reality software that allows digital content to show right on top of the real world object in our digital devices.
BLIPPAR
In the end, we were also to produce a Blippar of our research. It was very fun to be able to tryout augmented reality software in our assignment and the process of figuring out on how to use the software is fasciniating.
REFLECTION
In this group project, I was able to work with people from other courses. It was great to be able to meet new people through the assignment and to be able to do face-to-face discussions. With the booklet having most of our manual drawings instead of digital pictures, it is fascinating to see that we were able to illustrate the information clearly through our drawings. Making Blippar has also shown me the new possibility on how we can showcase our work in a digital way.
